Meet the team
Edward is the founder of Heaton & Partners. He has a rare breadth of prime property experience gained over 35 years in both central London and in the country. Edward acts for a diverse client base and has extensive knowledge of both residential and agricultural property.
Karen has over 30 years of property experience in central London, previously at a Mayfair based firm which she helped grow into one of London’s leading buying agencies. Prior to that Karen spent six years at Chesterfield in Knightsbridge.
Helen has operated in the prime property sector for over 28 years, both in London and the country, during which time she has advised a diverse range of clients from the Royal Household to the American Ambassador for London. Helen lives in Henley and joined Heaton & Partners as a partner in 2013.
Charlie is a partner in the firm having operated in the country house, farms and estates markets for over 17 years. Charlie lives in Hampshire and, prior to joining Heaton & Partners in 2015, worked in the buying arm of Strutt & Parker and in Savills’ Country Department.
Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the property sector, spanning prime residential sales, development, lettings and property management. Prior to joining Heaton & Partners, Patrick worked at both Knight Frank and Savills, specialising in country house sales in Berkshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Andrew is our partner who looks after the South West of England including Bath, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and west Wiltshire. With over 30 years of experience in the prime residential property market, Andrew was a Director Savills running the Bath and Beaconsfield offices, before joining Strutt and Parker and becoming a Director within their Country House Department with responsibility for the South West. Andrew lives near Bath and employs his wealth of property knowledge.
Having spent some time working for Strutt & Parker in London, Alasdhair returned to his roots in Oxfordshire. He most recently worked for Knight Frank before making the move to buying where he specialises in the prime Cotswold market and beyond.
Tom heads the Property Management department which covers both London and the country. His experience includes working in the land management division at Strutt & Parker as well as private estate management.
Italia joined Heaton & Partners in 2021 after five years as a racing secretary for a leading racehorse trainer. Italia has a keen interest in property and works within our Property Management team.
Anna is from a PR and Marketing background with an additional five years of experience in London working as a project manager for an established property fund. Anna joined the firm in 2016 and provides administrative and other valuable support to the team.
Melanie relocated to the UK from Cape Town, South Africa and leaves behind 20 years of advertising and marketing experience. Having always had a keen interest in property, she started her journey with Strutt and Parker and joined Heaton & Partners in July 2025, currently providing administrative support to the team.
Ani has always had a keen interest in property, initially studying law and working in the property department of a firm of lawyers. She joined Heaton & Partners in January 2024 and currently provides administrative support to the team.
Merlin has been working in the prime central London market for over 30 years both as a partner of Knight Frank and his own company, Merlin Dormer Property, before merging with Heaton & Partners. Merlin has experience in residential and commercial property in acquisitions, sales, lettings and management.
Andrew has over 35 years of residential property experience in sales, lettings and property management and has run his own practice for many years. Andrew lives in Wiltshire and acts as a consultant to the firm.
Bobby acts as a consultant to Heaton & Partners. He lives in Lambourn and has been advising clients looking to buy prime residential, agricultural and equestrian properties in Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset for over 20 years.
